About BookZero
BookZero is the UAE's first zero-deposit car rental marketplace — built by Blacklist Global to connect renters with verified rental companies, without the cash or card deposit that has dominated Dubai rentals for years.

Our mission
For years, renting a car in Dubai meant leaving a security deposit of AED 1,000 to AED 5,000 frozen on your card for up to 30 days after return. That model penalises honest renters, ties up travellers' money, and creates friction at the desk.
BookZero flips that model. By combining KYC-verified rental partners, a shared driver-risk database (the BookZero Blacklist), and partner-carried insurance, we make zero-deposit rentals sustainable — so you pay only the rental fee and drive away without a hold on your card.
We are part of Blacklist Global, the UAE's driver-risk and debt-collection platform serving rental companies across the Emirates. That infrastructure is what makes a true no-deposit marketplace possible.
Editorial standards
Verified partners only
Every rental company on BookZero passes KYC verification before a single car goes live. We do not list anonymous private owners.
Fact-checked guides
Our guides cite current RTA rules, Salik tariffs, and UAE driving licence recognition lists. We review each article at least twice a year and update the 'updated' date on every revision.
Transparent pricing
Listings show the full daily, weekly, and monthly rate upfront. Optional extras (delivery, coverage) are shown clearly and only added if the renter chooses them.
Renter screening
Partners screen renters against the BookZero Blacklist — a shared database of drivers with unpaid damage, fraud, or default history — before every handover.

Editorial & Content Standards
Our guides are written and reviewed by the Blacklist Global editorial desk — a team with over a decade of combined experience in the UAE car rental, fleet management, and driver-risk industries. Every article is fact-checked against current RTA regulations, partner policies, and live marketplace data before publication.
